Painting Frogs

T.J. had the day off on Friday and decided it would be a fun project for us to all build a wooden jigsaw frog puzzle and then paint it. Turns out it was a lot of fun!. Draeven thought it was just "Awesome!" They had to be a little patient with me, cause it took me a little while to figure out how to put mine together perfectly without any glue leaking out of the seams. T.J. had his and Draeven's built before I was done with mine. T.J. and his little carbon copy painting their frogs.

Draeven learned a little trick from his daddy while painting... after you rinse your paintbrush in the water, you smooth the bristles out by pressing them between your lips. In the first part of the video clip, you can see Draeven gagging on the paint he just licked off of his paint brush!

What a fun day thing to do! Now our frogs are proudly displayed in our living room! Thanks for a GREAT afternoon Daddy!
